A man died in the North today after he was pulled from a river.
A fire crew rescued him at about 1am at Queen’s Bridge over the River Lagan in Belfast. He died shortly afterwards in hospital.
Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
The man is described as being 5ft 10in in height, of medium to heavy build, and aged between 55 and 70.

He was balding, with white and grey hair to the side and a grey moustache. He had several tattoos on his arms.
