A man (33) is due to appear in front of Belfast Magistrate Court tomorrow morning charged with membership of the UVF, amongst other offences.

Detectives from the PSNI’s crime branch, which has took over the investigation from the Historical Enquiry Team into a series of murders and other crimes carried out by the UVF in North Belfast, charged the man with conspiracy to intimidation of a witness, conspiracy to cause an explosion, possession of explosives with intent and membership of a proscribed organisation, namely the UVF.
