A man is due to appear before Carrickmacross District Court today charged in connection with a drugs seizure on Friday.
The 37-year-old man was arrested after a planned search of a farm and outhouses on the outskirts of Kilnaleck, Co Cavan.
A large quantity of what is believed to be cocaine and mixing agent, along with a firearm, were recovered.
The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Drogheda Garda Station where he was questioned under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
