A 55-year-old man was remanded in custody yesterday when he appeared at a special sitting of Sligo District Court on 321 charges of indecent assault. Mr Patrick Curran, of Sheskinbeg, Derrybeg, Co Donegal, was remanded in custody with consent to bail to appear at Grange District Court on Tuesday.
He was arrested on Tuesday night and is charged with committing the offences against 20 males between 1966 and 1986. Mr Curran denied all the charges.
