A man is due in court this morning over the death of a Latvian man whose body was recovered from Howth harbour over a year ago.

The body of Igors Bondarenko (35) was discovered off Middle Pier in October 4th, 2006.

Gardaí took several weeks to identify Mr Bondarenko, who had been living in Drogheda and Howth for several months.

A (35) was arrested yesterday and is scheduled to appear at Cloverhill District Court today.
