FRIEDRICHSHAFEN - One man died and 53 people, including nine children, were injured yesterday in a fire in an asylum seekers' hostel in the southern German town of Friedrichshafen, police said.
They said they were not yet sure what had caused the blaze, but that an arson attack could not be ruled out.
