A man who died after falling about 30 feet from a tree in a Cork suburb is reported to have attended a rave party before the accident.

Mr Ahmed Aznisli (31), said to have a Palestinian background, had been working as a garage hand and had lived in Bandon for the past 10 years. He went to the party in the Old Court Woods at Rochestown and climbed the tree some time after 4.30 a.m. yesterday. He was still alive when an ambulance took him to Cork University Hospital, but was pronounced dead soon afterwards.
