Gardaí have confirmed the sudden death yesterday of a male in the West Wood swimming pool in Clontarf, Dublin.
The death took place at approximately 12.30 yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí said they did not believe the death to be suspicious.
The Irish Times was told West Wood had no comment to make on the matter in a call placed to the club this morning.
