A man has been killed in a collision between a car and a van in Co Galway.
The crash took place this morning on the N18 at Shanaglish near the border between Galway and Clare.
The dead man was driving the car. The van driver was injured and is being treated in hospital.
A total of 38 people have been killed on the State's roads so far this year.
