A man who suffered extensive burns when he accidentally ignited a can of petrol in his garden in Co Cork earlier this week has died.
The father of one, who is in his 30s and originally from Latvia, accidentally set himself alight in his garden shed at his home in Skehard Road, Blackrock, on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for Cork University Hospital (CUH) today confirmed that the man, passed away but declined to release his name.
