A man has died after falling off Belderrig Cliffs in north Mayo around 1.30pm yesterday.
The man's body was recovered by a rescue vessel some two-and-a-half hours after he was seen falling.
The victim, who has not yet been named, was taken to Mayo General Hospital. Gardaí are seeking witnesses to the tragedy.
