A man was charged at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin yesterday with INLA membership

A man was charged at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin yesterday with INLA membership.charged with membership of an illegal organisation on August 1st, 1996. He was also charged with having a hammer to unlawfully intimidate another person at Oakttee Drive, Castleknock, Dublin, on the same date.

When asked by Mr Justice Johnson, presiding, if he had anything to say, Mr Adams replied: "I am not a member of that organisation and have never been a member of it." He was remanded in custody until July 18th.
