A 27 year-old man lost his life when the car he was travelling in was involved in a traffic accident in Co Carlow last night.
The accident happened at 2.25am at Ballybannon, Kilkenny Road in Carlow.
The victim, who was the lone occupier of the car, was killed when the vehicle went into a ditch.
