A man in Co Antrim is seriously ill in hospital with stab wounds after what police are treating as an attempted murder last night.
The man was attacked with a sharp implement as he answered his door in the Eglinton Street area of Portrush at 10pm. He sustained face and neck injuries.
A man has been arrested and is due to be charged with attempted murder.
