A 29 year old man is recovering in hospital after a "punishment" beating in Lenadoon in west Belfast.
He was attacked on Thursday night by a gang of seven masked men wielding hammers and cudgels. He suffered a broken arm and leg, and bruising. Families Against Intimidation and Terror described the attack as brutal and urged all church and political leaders to condemn it.
