A Cork man has been found guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court of raping and indecently assaulting his daughter in the 1980s. The 47-year-old man was convicted on two charges of rape and three charges of indecent assault between 1981 and 1987. He had earlier pleaded guilty to one charge of indecent assault and a nolle prosequi was entered on a further charge.

Mr Justice Smith remanded him in custody for sentence on July 14th.
