A man was arrested today following a road accident in Co Down left several people injured.
A number of people were injured when two cars collided on the main Belfast — Newry Road a few miles north of the border city.
The injured were taken to hospital where their conditions were not immediately known.
The 22-year-old arrested following the crash was later being questioned by police who appealed for any witnesses to the crash close to the Sheepbridge Inn at around 9.15am to contact them.
