A man was arrested today by detectives investigating the murder of a businessman at his Northern Ireland home last year.

A man was arrested today by detectives investigating the murder of a businessman at his Northern Ireland home last year.

Geoff Kerr (60) was shot dead during a struggle with intruders in Templepatrick, Co Antrim, in April.

A police spokesman said a 59-year-old man was arrested in the Templepatrick area this morning.

Two men have already appeared in court charged with the murder of the Ballymena-born financial adviser.

Mr Kerr was married with four sons.
