Man (35) dies in Kerry collision

Gardaí in Kerry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision this morning in which a 35-year-old man died.

Gardaí in Kerry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision this morning in which a 35-year-old man died.

The collision occurred at approximately 7.15am on the main Cork to Killarney road, near the village of Glenflesk in Co Kerry.

The 35-year-old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving hit an SUV. The male driver and only occupant of the SUV received serious injuries.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation.
