Cocaine with an estimated value of €50,000 has been recovered after officials questioned a man who arrived at Dublin airport from Brussels today, according to Revenue's Customs Service.
Around three-quarters of a kilo of the substance was recovered after Customs officers questioned a 25-year-old Nigerian man, a statement said. Customs said the drugs were recovered at Beaumont hospital after the man was questioned.
He was arrested and was taken to Santry Garda Station for further questioning.
