A man (19) has died after he was struck in a hit-and-run incident in south Belfast early this morning.
The man was struck by a vehicle as he crossed the road at a junction between Tierney Gardens and Donegal Road at around 2am.
He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
Police say a burnt-out car was found on Cook Street off the Ormeau Road and are seeking anyone who saw a Rover 600 car being abandoned in the area.
