A 19-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision in Co Monaghan this morning.
The incident happened at Broomfield, Castleblaney, around 4am when the van he was driving in struck a ditch.
The 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the incident and was taken by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda,
His condition is described as serious.
