. reduction of employers' PRSI by £200 million, with the remaining employers' PRSI to be a social responsibility tax.
. the introduction of a single income tax rate on all income above the basic (estimated at between 45 and 49 per cent).
. priority to be given to maintenance of rural population stability.
. the environment to be a central concern of government policy, with developers required to pay for damage done.
. more local authority housing and priority to dealing with homelessness.
. reduction of healthcare waiting lists.
. increased duty on tobacco and drink,
. creation of a body to supervise the prevention of corruption in the interaction of politics and business.
