TV: RTÉ television is broadcasting coverage of Live8 from 2pm until around midnight, taking in the bulk of the UK and US concerts. Dave Fanning and Laura Woods will be in Hyde Park to cover the London event until its close at around 9.30pm.

Coverage then switches to the Philadelphia gig, due to finish at around 3am tomorrow. Today's full schedule is: RTÉ2, 2pm to 4.55pm; RTÉ1, 5pm to 6pm; and RTÉ2, 7.20pm to midnight.

Coverage starts on BBC2 at 1pm and then moves to BBC1 from 4pm to 9.30pm. After the news, BBC1 will show the Philadelphia concert from 10pm to 3am on Sunday.

Radio: RTÉ is not covering the event on radio, but it can be heard on BBC World Service between 2pm and 11pm, and on more than 200 UK commercial radio stations who are taking shared coverage from 10am until 1am Sunday.
