London - The pop star Madonna is to marry her boyfriend Guy Ritchie at a Christmas wedding ceremony in Scotland, according to the Sun newspaper. It said she would marry the British filmmaker in a £1 million ceremony at Dornoch Cathedral in north-east Scotland on December 22nd, with the party at a nearby castle.

Coca-Cola gives ads to library
Atlanta - The Coca-Cola Company announced yesterday that, to mark its 50th year of television advertising, it is to donate its collection of old commercials to the archive of films and television broadcasts of the Library of Congress.
The more than 20,000 advertisements that Coca-Cola is donating include commercials from Malaysia, Tunisia and Japan as well as ads from the US. It will take three to five years to transfer the commercials to the library, according to Mr Phil Mooney, a company archivist.
