A young Louth man has been remanded in custody for sentence on October 22nd by the Central Criminal Court after he pleaded guilty to a rape charge. Brendan Crawley (24), of Corderry, Knockbridge, admitted he raped a woman on November 6th, 1994.

Evidence of the offence will be heard at the sentence hearing. A probation report and a victim impact report will also be prepared for that hearing.
