MUTARE, Zimbabwe - At least 27 people were killed and 35 seriously wounded when a lorry they were travelling in plunged into a river, the local news agency ZIANA reported yesterday. Police said some 80 people who had been hired to work at a farm were packed into the back of a truck that was taking them to Chipinge district at the time of the accident.
