Camp Zeist - The defence at the Lockerbie trial in the Netherlands yesterday began its motion to drop the case against one of the two Libyans accused of the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

Mr Richard Keen, lawyer for Mr Al-Amin Khalifa Fahima, opened his submission, saying: "The motion I make on behalf of the second accused is that he has no case to answer."
