Limerick Expo, an annual showcase of the city, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend with street entertainment and a fireworks display.
An Expo Mardi Gras parade led by the Bart and Homer Simpson cartoon characters is being held in the city this evening and will be followed by fireworks over the Shannon at 10 p.m.
There will be horse-racing at the new racecourse in Greenmount this afternoon and on Monday, which will include the Expo €25,000 Handicap Steeplechase.
