Leinster 14 Perpignan 21
Irish rugby suffered a second crushing blow in as many days this afternoon as a lacklustre Leinster crashed out of the Heineken cup at the hands of French underdogs Perpignan.
The result sets up an all-French encounter in the final with Perpignan meeting Toulouse, who pipped Munster by a single point yesterday.
In truth, Perpignan deserved the victory and ran in two tries to Leinster's one with veteran hookerMarc dal Maso scoring the decisive one as not even the 47,000 home supporters could lift a flat Leinster side.
