Leicester City are interested in bringing Lazio's Italian striker
Fabrizio Ravanelli back to the premier league, manager Peter Taylor said today.
Taylor said that he had contacted Lazio about the availability of the 32-year-old former Italian international, who had an eventful season with Middlesbrough five years ago.
"There is a definite interest in Ravanelli. I would put it no stronger than that at the moment," said Taylor.
"We have opened the lines of communication but any discussions are still very much in their infancy. It's no secret that we are looking for a striker of high calibre who can play at Premiership level."
Ravanelli has indicated that he would like another chance to play in England.
