Leaving Cert appeal report

The Minister for Education, Mr Martin, has asked for a "comprehensive report" on the outcome of this year's appeal process in the Leaving Cert honours English exam. He was speaking after meeting a group of teachers and parents, mostly from the midlands, who have expressed concern at an apparent pattern of some stronger students getting lower marks and some weaker students getting higher marks in this year's exam.
