A Co Derry farm labourer was remanded on bail until June 16th when he appeared in court in Magherafelt yesterday accused of possessing a shotgun and cartridge in suspicious circumstances.

Mr John Wesley McLean (25), from Draperstown Road, Tobermore, also faces a charge of intent to cause grievous bodily harm to another man on April 7th this year.
