A Labour stalwart who has been a party member for more than 25 years sent a letter of resignation to Mr Tony Blair yesterday saying he would spend the next three days campaigning for the Tories. Mr Chaudry Mohammed Bashir, of Walsall, said he has become disillusioned with New Labour.
