LONDON - Labour yesterday lodged a formal complaint with ITN over its decision to run a seven minute interview with the Prime Minister, Mr John Major, as the lead item on News at Ten ahead of the US air crash.
The Opposition claimed the interview contained little that was newsworthy and amounted to no more than a party political broadcast for the Tories.
