Pristina - Peacekeepers of the NATO-led Kfor force raided a major arms store in western Kosovo and arrested four ethnic Albanian men, a Kfor spokesman said yesterday. Italian and Spanish troops found 79 hand grenades, eight rifles, a large amount of ammunition and 300 grams of the explosive TNT early on Saturday in the village of Miroc, five km south of the town of Decane.
Meanwhile 40 prisoners, mostly Serbs, yesterday ended their hunger strike, which they began on April 10th in protest against their continuing detention without trial, a UN spokeswoman in Pristina said after the UN mission head, Mr Bernard Kouchner, met the prisoners.
