Kerry defender Tomas O’Se is facing a four week suspension resulting from an incident in last weekend’s All-Ireland semi-final against Cork.
The Games Administration Committee (GAC) last night reviewed video evidence of the game in which ugly brawls involving players from both sides broke out during the second half.
O’Se has been summoned along with Cork’s Philip Clifford to face an unspecified charge - believed to be striking.
The Kerry player, however, would still be eligible for next month’s All-Ireland, despite a suspension being imposed, as the ban would expire on the eve of the game.
