Cycling: Ireland's Brian Kenneally claimed stage two of the FBD Insurance Rás today after moving clear from the pack with two kilometres to go before the finish line in Loughrea.

Today's win is Kenneally's second Rás stage win after the Meath MyHome.ie/BDBC rider entered the winner's podium back in 2000.

Tony Martin was second while Irish riders Paul Griffin and Mark Cassidy ensured three home riders in the top 10 after they finished sixth and eighth respectively.

Overnight leader Mart Ojavee finished in the main bunch and lost the yellow jersey to Ricardo Van der Velde from the Netherlands, who is three seconds clear of Jesse Anthony. Kenneally is third overall, five seconds back.
