Roy Keane may be in more trouble after he revealed he wishes he had punched Alan Shearer before being sent off at Newcastle last season.
Keane got a red card for pushing Shearer in a fit of rage over the Newcastle skipper's time-wasting.
In a new video, Roy Keane: As I See It, the Irishman said: "I was sent off for pushing him [Shearer] - but if you're going to get sent off, you might as well punch him properly. It's the same punishment.
"You might as well get hung for a sheep as a lamb. It was just a push, though. Ridiculous".
Keane is serving a five-match ban after admitting in his autobiography that a tackle on Manchester City's Alf-Inge Haaland was motivated by a desire for revenge.
Keane, who is still recovering from hip surgery, was also fined £150,000 stering by the English FA and could face a civil suit from Haaland.
