Jury is sworn in for murder trial

A man pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court yesterday to the murder of another man outside a pub in the city

A man pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court yesterday to the murder of another man outside a pub in the city. Mr Alan Lyons (20), of Bonham Street, Dublin, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr David Watson (21), of James's Court, Echlin Street, Dublin, outside a public house on Thomas Street, Dublin, on April 25th, 1998.

A jury was sworn in to hear the case, which is expected to begin later this week.
