A Co Tipperary man has been found not guilty of rape by a jury at the Central Criminal Court

A Co Tipperary man has been found not guilty of rape by a jury at the Central Criminal Court. The 32-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the rape and sexual assault of the woman in Co Limerick on December 29th, 1996. The jury took almost three hours to acquit him after a three-day trial before Mr Justice Lavan.
