Hamburg - A judge waging a one-man war on crime in the German port known for its red light district was hauled up on trial himself yesterday, charged with perverting the course of justice.
Judge Ronald Schill was accused of ignoring an appeal by two recent visitors to the public gallery whom he threw into the cells for "slouching" in court.
