Jewels recovered from Concorde

Paris - Investigators have recovered some 5,000 jewels and valuables from the debris of the Air France Concorde which crashed near Paris last month and from the bodies of the victims, a police spokesman said yesterday. The valuables, ranging from jewellery to watches, lighters and gold-rimmed glasses, were being cleaned up, listed and photographed in order to be returned to relatives.
