Tokyo - North Korea yesterday broke its silence about test-firing a ballistic missile and Japan banned all flights between the two countries over an incident it said was a threat to commercial flights. North Korea held back from a direct admission that it carried out the test and said Japan was making an unwelcome "fuss" about a matter involving Korean sovereignty. Japan said North Korea on Monday fired its newly-developed, three-stage ballistic missile over Japanese territory.
