A Jamaican woman was further remanded in custody yesterday in connection with the seizure of cocaine with a street value of £250,000.

Ms Diana Cameron (31), of St James, Montego Bay, faces three charges of possession, supplying and importing the drugs. She is charged with importing the drugs unlawfully at Shannon Airport on November 12th and with having them in her possession at Brookville Avenue, Ennis Road, Limerick.

She was remanded in custody until December 3rd at Limerick County Court.
