Irish telecom and computer services group ITGsaid today revenue growth remains strong and that it has entered 2001 in good shape.
The comments came as it posted a profit before tax, goodwill and exceptions up 20 per cent to euro 3.1 million for the year to April 30th, on gross turnover up 114 per cent to euro 132.4 million.
Pre-tax profit was euro 479,000 against euro 752,000.
ITG said it expects overall significant improvements from its existing businesses and, together with the full-year impact of businesses acquired during 2001, it looks forward to a strong 2002.
The creation of long-term shareholder value remains its number one objective, it said.
ITG, which plans to change its name to "Alphyra" in support of the new electronic transaction focus of the group, said its British unit, Alphyra UK, has gone live with top-up services for Orange.
Orange are the second-largest prepay operator in the UK with 24.7 per cent of the pre-pay customer base, it said.
