Jerusalem - The US envoy, Mr Dennis Ross, said yesterday Israelis and Palestinians were interested in breaking the 18-month impasse in Middle East peacemaking but still had many differences to overcome.
"The initial set of discussions, I think, reflect that both sides are interested in trying to find a way forward and we'll see if we can do it," Mr Ross said before talks with the Israeli President, Mr Ezer Weizman.
