An Israeli court today issued an arrest warrant for Marwan Barghuti, the head of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement in the West Bank, for allegedly organising paramilitary groups, legal officials said.
The court of Jerusalem issued the warrant charging Barghuti with "participating in terrorist activities" and "complicity in murder," a legal official said.
