PETER CALLAN, B Comm, FCA has been appointed managing director of a new company that will manage the digital investments of The Irish TimesLtd in Ireland.com, irishracing.com, entertainment.ie and Electric Media.
Peter joined The Irish Timesin 2004 and has held the role of group financial controller.
He qualified as a chartered accountant with BDO before spending four years with the Techrete group as financial controller. He also held a number of senior roles over a five-year period at electro mechanical group APW, including vice-president of finance for Europe Asia and South America, and general manager and finance director of its Dublin operation.
