Irish industrial production up half point

Industrial production for the three months to the end of February rose 0

Industrial production for the three months to the end of February rose 0.5 per cent over the previous three months, according to seasonally adjusted figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The CSO figures published this morning indicate that the year-on-year increase for February 2004 was 3.3 per cent.

This early estimate is based on the actual returns for the firms that have already responded for the reference month.
